I found the forum googling some info on Burmese... Looks like a great place to share info... I had always wanted a tortoise and let my 6 y/o nephew convince me to get some when he and his little brother came to live with me.

Yes, you've some upon a great place to learn about the different species of turtles and torts, and what their habitat requirements are ~ just do your research before you get your shelled family members & all should work out well for you. And have fun with your nephews in preparing for the tort's; I imagine they will be even more excited when they get to take part in discovering the various kinds of tort's & how cool the habitats can be created.

As has been mentioned do your research and have everything setup and tweaked
before bringing home your new family member. Nothing worse than having to scramble to get temps.,
and other factors right when you've got a scared little tort trying to settle in.
