Hello all,
I live in Denver, Colorado. I chose the username "GeoTerraTestudo" because those are my three favorite genera of turtles: Geochelone, Terrapene, and Testudo.
As a small boy in Israel, I had two Greek tortoises for a while (which are native there). Growing up here in Denver, I had several three-toed box turtles, which were awesome, but I gave them up when I moved to Florida. There I had a red-footed tortoise, who was wonderful. However, when it was time to move back to Colorado, I donated her to Flamingo Gardens, which has a healthy colony of red-foots. Having been back for a few years, I recently purchased a pair of Russian tortoises, and they are great. I am confident they will do well in this climate, and this time, I will keep them for good.
Well, thanks for providing this forum. Looking forward to reading and learning lots of interesting things about tortoises.
