I just registered to the forum. I am interested in tortoises, turtles, and reptiles in general. I am from Florida, where we have plenty.

Yes I have a 10.5 inch long leopard tort called Lola but never had any desire to own a tortoise at all until he arrived.
He was found in a field - prob abandoned because they are expensive to keep- he has a foot missing and is about 2 or 3 years old.
I was only supposed to be looking after him for a while but just over a year later he is still here and I wouldn't be without him now even if he is costing me a fortune!!
