Hello everyone. I currently live in NC, and currently only have a North American Wood Turtle along with several lizards and snakes. I have kept turtles many times throughout my life but am finding they have my attention more than anything else right now. I am in the process of figuring out where I want to put down my roots, but as soon as I do I am planning on doing some extensive outdoor enclosures. I look forward to learning from you all, and sharing what I learn along the way.

Welcome to the Forum!

If I were looking for a new place to "put down roots," I would probably look either at San Diego, California or someplace away from the coast in Florida. I would love to be able to keep my tortoises and potted cactus/succulents outside during the winter.

Thanks everyone. I know this wont sound silly to you all, but my capacity to keep Aldabras' and Redfoots' outdoors is weighing on my decision of where to move.
