We're stoked to be part of the group! We're experienced with reptiles (beardies, snakes and RES) but new to tortoises. We rescued this girl from the County animal shelter during the Thomas Fire here in southern California. Her name is Vicky. She had either a deformity or injury that resulted in the need to amputate her front left leg at her shoulder. She's recovering well and has an amazing appetite despite the daily handling and medicating. Hopefully she outlives us!
