Hello, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and our family' Russian Tortoise, Crush.

Crush was purchased from Pet Smart in August 2013. We believe he is a male and about 4 to 5 years old. He currently lives indoors in a Tortoise Palace and is very active.

I really am grateful to be a part of this forum and hope to exchange information over the coming months.

Thanks. Well, Crush is spending his first night in two Tortoise Houses I put together from Zoo Med. I spread organic top soil and plantation soil throughout the floor (on top of fiber cloth). I also placed Timothy Hay in one of the hides where Crush is now burrowed. Good night, Crush.

I just came across this post. Did you get Crush at the Petsmart in Fairless Hills, Pa.? That's where mine came from and closest to Jersey border. Great success and a healthy tort the last 4 years; officially mine due to a tragedy as of early October.
