Hello Tortoise fanatics

[Tortoise]

Hello
I came across this forum today-it is a great resource for tortoise folk.
I live in Canada and have 3 red foot tortoises amongst other weird and wonderful animals.

I am considering getting some Bells Hinge back tortoises but I'm unsure, if anyone has any advice or experience regarding this species I would really appreciate it. Worried about humidity as we are dry but for my red foots I have a table and use a watering can daily to keep them moist.

Thanks for all of your welcome messages, I really appreciate it. I am very excited as tomorrow I add to my tortoise collection 2 Bells Hinge back tortoises. I am feeling very fortunate to have an opportunity to care for them.
I have a feeling they may both be males so I may start a huge search for some girls in Canada-or US if I can get them shipped out. This species sound s like they may need more numbers here if possible.
If anyone has advice on this, please elt me know

Hi Louise:

Right off the top of my head I can think of two forum members who keep hingebacks: RedfootNerd and Kristina. Be sure to look for them in the Hingeback section and ask your questions there so they will be sure to see them.

Unfortunatly for us Canadians, it is impossible to import a tortoise/Turtle/egg. But I am sure you will find what you are looking for, we always do .
