Hi, I'm Kelly and my boyfriend and I are the proud new(ish) owners of our baby sulcata Sweetie Belle.

We're kinda nervous parents when it comes to what we can feed her, how we should keep her environment and all that, so it's safe to say you should expect a lot of questions from us. lol

We bought Sweetie Belle almost a month ago, and the guy at the pet store said she was 9 months old. So she's just about 10 months. (He's also the one who sexed her for us)

Anyways, I'm so glad I found this forum and nice to meet you all

Welcome to the forum, I hope you enjoy your visits here. Just FYI at 9 months he is to small to sex, the pet store guy was guessing though he does have a 50 percent on being right.

Your tort is far too young to sex accurately. They all look female at first. You will need to wait around another 5 years, I'm afraid. As gender is controlled by incubation temperature, they can 'be bred to be' a particular gender, but it's not 100% accurate.
