Yup another newbie!! I am going to be a new Russian Tortoise owner in October! I am planning on getting my tort when the next reptile expo comes around I am currently reading up all I can about Russian Torts and learning all I can. Of course I have plenty of questions, as I want to make sure my tort is well taken care of.

I already have a 40 gallon breeder tank which is going to be temporary until we move into our new house and I have space for the tort table. Even though it is a 40 g breeder, I have big plans for it. I'm going to build an "upper level" for the basking area and a hiding spot under neath. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!! Also, if anyone has advice on the tank or how to care for a baby Russian I would love to hear it!!

Not yet. I have been doing some research and am thinking of building one myself. That way I can make sure that its stable enough. Unless there is one to buy! lol
