I have these growing in my yard and was wondering if anyone knows what they are and if they are safe for Leopard tortoises. I live in upstate new york if that helps at all. The fist two photos are the same plant and grow approx 2 feet tall and are around my deck. The third photo is a different weed that is spread out throughout my yard. Thanks in advanced for the help.

The first one looks like nettle, however, it must not be or you wouldn't be handling it. The second one looks like creeping charlie. Neither is toxic.

Yeah it actually has waxy leaves and is very soft. So I think your right not nettle. Is creeping Charlie a healthy option for variety or just not toxic. I guess I'm asking should I feed it or just not worry if they eat it while outside?

Creeping charlie is okay, my tort eats sometimes (it's all over the yard) not the best option for all the time!
