Hey guys i have this tortoise for few years now but never sure the species of it? Its a male probably more than 6 years old as i bought him from pet shop as adult (21 cm) I i dentified him being a Testudo graeca ibera but might be wrong... found him in a pet shop with other Testudos and was puzzled by his dark ,no pattern, highly domed carapace!

Please anyone any clue on his species?
Thank you :p

I love how dark the shell is. Experts will be by soon so they can give their views. I am not an expert, but I do know I like your tortoise! : )

It's a Greek tortoise I believe. Can't tell you what subspecies, maybe ibera.. There are a few people that know these species very well that can probably tell you what subspecies it is

Looks like a golden greek to me. See these occasionally at Petco/smart.
