Maybe I can get some opinions on how to heat my new TT for my Hermann Tortoise. He is now a little over a year old and I’m building a 10x3 foot table. Gow many heat lamps do you think I will need and how far apart? I thought I’d leave his hide end without any heat on it, so it is a little cooler for him at night. We live in a cold climate so he has to be housed inside. House temps are usually around 69-72.
Thanks!!!

If it were me, I would buy three 100 watt CHE (Ceramic Heat Emitter), and place on at each end and one in the middle. It's hard to heat an open topped table. Once you get them hanging, you'll need to measure the temperature all over the whole enclosure and either raise or lower the CHEs until you reach the desired temperatures. It would be even better if you could figure out a way to cover or partially cover the table.
