Help!!! My baby leo has a white eye

So my name is Jason and I'm new to this forum. about three months ago i purchased my first leopard tortoise hatchling (Dash). He was actively exploring and eating everything we placed in his bowl. but lately he seemed to developed this white cap over his eye, has become lethargic and doesn't eat much. Today I have an appointment with the vet and I was wondering if anyone had any helpful insight on what this might be before I take him in. Attached is the picture of his left eye (his left eye hasn't always been this way and his right eye is normal). Thanks for the help in advance!

That looks like either a piece of food stuck on the eye, or an ulcer. Go to a pet store and buy Vetericyn Eye Gel. Put some on the eye to see if you can soften the white spot. Apply it several times a day. If it doesn't come off by itself in a day or so, you'd better go see a vet.
