Help! Need to make my enclosure flip proof

This is what I have him in. He just turned 1 and He has an outdoor enclosure that is pretty big. Once I put him outside in the bigger enclosure he goes crazy and paces back and forth. Indoors he doesn’t, just likes to climb on things, move things, and flip…

How big is the enclosure?
He should be in a 2 or 3 by 4 foot now and will need a minimum of a 4x8 when larger. A 4x8 now will work too and you could just block off a portion.
I'm thinking the enclosure is just too small.

Well his enclosure outside is huge and he paces in that.

They will pace. It's good exercise. Once he lives out there 24/7 or at least every day all day, the pacing settles and they explore more and eat and are better adjusted. However, they still will try to get to the other side of the walls now and then.
Can you put a sort of curved "gutter" all the way around the sides so that he is unable to get himself into a vertical state from which to flip backwards? He will just keep trying to climb the wall but get no purchase to get upright.
Apart from that, all I can think of is for you to make him a removable, tall, light frame to fit on top of his shell which would make it impossible for him to be on his back at all.
