help what is it male or female?

hi
i have 2 sulcatas one is 18 inch from the top to the very end
the other is 16.5 inches
please let me know if you know what they are....
they look like 2 different once to me.. but please help
the smaller one is the one with the tail out !
it does it when i pick it up- the other one dont want to show its tail... so no clue
i hope that is ok

holly cow- so i'm super lucky... but why isnt he trying to mate ? its because she is to small ? and he knows that?

hello
i have on what is around 17 iches
the other is around 15 inches
the smaller one is the one were you can see the tail- this one right away when i lift it up- the tail is showing.
the other one , no chance for me of seeing the tail
they are around 4-5 years old. i got them when there where tiny little babies like 2 inches
i see they look kind of different- so maybe you guys can help me -also when do they mature ? let say if its a male and a female would they try to mate yet ? or are they still to small and young ?

What does it cost to have a vet DNA sex the tort? I was curious about mine and can see the definitive answer will be something akin to 50-50...

Even 2 females will fight with each other. They are very territorial and pairs do not work. Three or more... one male only though... may work in very large outdoor enclosures. There is no such thing as a breeding pair of torts living in contentment.

You need to split this pair up at the first sign of trouble, preferably before.
