Herbie the Sulcata could rehome if anyone interested .

Hello All,
It’s been w while.
Herbie turned 4 and probably hitting 35-40lbs.

He seems to be very content.

My husband is having a major anxiety about what to do with Herbie and how to live with him .

If anyone is interested I would be keen on rehoming him. I can deliver him anywhere in the USA.

It would have to be someone who knows about torts or already has some and looking for a male to join a group of females.

He has a good home and all his needs are met but if someone one is looking for a funny tank I would be ok sending him on his way.

Aw bless what’s got him anxious about keeping him? Are you worried about space once he’s reached full size? Cause I can definitely understand that, these guys are whoppers lol.
If space isn’t an issue though, seems a shame when he’s so content with you guys, he looks a very happy boy

I could never give mine up, I love her too much and I’m selfish. Even if she could thrive in another neck of the woods I would be lost without her and have no reason to be this the planet.
Please love herbie like no one else can.
They really are the most beautiful creatures that God himself has created. If you look closely you will be in awe that these animals have survived thousands of years and been through it ALL.!!!!

Ah yes I love him very much.
Read about them a lot and spent lots of time with Herbie.
My husband keeps worrying about the future why who knows.
That gives me anxiety.
Keeps talking about buying a huge property in the future and yet complaining about the tortoise.
So at some point I started thinking that for my own sake it’s better to see what options are available.

I feel you! I’ve talked about keeping a tortoise for almost two decades and put it off and off and finally decided now was the time. My spouse is not a fan and almost blew a gasket when I brought mine inside in a box for a few nights after staining her house. It’s almost more stressful than it’s worth when you have a spouse that isn’t keen on what goes into keeping these animals and ensuring they’re happy and thriving. I don’t have any advice just commiseration! I hope this works out as best in your situation!
