Can someone tell me if there is anything wrong with the way I set up the terrarium? Thanks!

Is your Hermann's a hatchling? Otherwise it looks pretty small. As for myself I I started with chips, hated it and then went toMudflap3_4_18a.JPG full Coir for my Mudflap. :)

I have a UVB light, which provides heat also cause it's hot. Do I still need the red light?

No, red lights should not be used. It causes them to eat there substrate, it disrupts their sleep cycle, and it confuses them because it makes their world red.

Good catch, I admit I missed that one. Als o, I hope that's a UVB Bulb and not just a heat bulb for basking. I always recommend MegaRay and that they be pointed straight down and not angled.
For night-time heat (when & if needed) I use the MegaRay Heat Projector.

My hatchlings have HID lamps and Sunblaster for Daylight. The red light can cause Eye damage.
I use sand and soil and they love to dig in it. I aslo have a lot of plants that they can hide under or eat. The plants also gives a good microklimate in the enclosure ( wich is a old rabbitcage. )
On this picture the habitat is for hatchling who is 1 day - 2 months old.

Thats very nice. How did u grew the grasses and other food sources in the cage? Or did u get them from outside and put them in with the hermanns?

Try adding a larger piece of slate so that it helps to wearing the claws.

Can you bury the water bowl in? It's a tipping and drowning hazard for them to have to climb up to access water.
