It's a juvenile I suppose, like the one in the 2nd picture.
I have a UVB light, which provides heat also cause it's hot. Do I still need the red light?
No, red lights should not be used. It causes them to eat there substrate, it disrupts their sleep cycle, and it confuses them because it makes their world red.
My hatchlings have HID lamps and Sunblaster for Daylight. The red light can cause Eye damage.
I use sand and soil and they love to dig in it. I aslo have a lot of plants that they can hide under or eat. The plants also gives a good microklimate in the enclosure ( wich is a old rabbitcage. )
On this picture the habitat is for hatchling who is 1 day - 2 months old.
Can someone tell me if there is anything wrong with the way I set up the terrarium? Thanks!
