I’m new to this forum but looking for some help for my little tortoise Arlo. He is around 3 years old I’ve had him for about a year and a half now and he’s been perfect up till now. he’s always been a good eater and constantly been up and about in his tortoise table. For the past couple weeks he’s been sleeping a lot to the point where I won’t see him at all. I’ve been checking on him every day but he just doesn’t seem as active as he once was. Due to him sleeping so much he has not been eating. He will have a couple nibbles if I put some food near him but otherwise will not touch it and he ususally is very up for eating everything I put down for him. Nothing has changed to his habitat or diet and I’m getting quite worried. I have been soaking him as much as I can and he always does the toilet when soaking. I’m going to take him to the vet asap but just looking to see if anyone would know any reason for this. I think his eyes are possibly sunken in slightly as well but I’m not completely sure as I’m not an expert I will attach some pics below. Anyone that could help would be greatly appreciated.

My little horsefield Beano went like this. I bathed him for a few days with Baby pureed carrot in the water. It seemed to pick him up, and he is back to eating again, and associating with the other 4 horsefields.

I might try that, he loves carrot and it’s usually something he doesn’t turn down. I’ve been bathing him every day and he seems to liven up a little for about an hour afterwards but just goes straight back to sleep once back in his table. I have a vet appointment booked this week so hopefully it’s notjing serious and find what’s up with him
