I currently do not have any tortoises because I do not know who to buy from. I have an enclosure set up already but still do not have a tortoise. Do you guys know a good breeder that is currently selling a well started (preferably a few months old) leopard tortoise? I have heard some horror stories from online breeders and/or pet stores so your recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Those are the threads where I have gotten all of my info from because they are linked so many times on this forum so I am glad I have been reading the right stuff. The first rule on Tom's "Beginner Mistakes" post is actually the reason why I decided to make an account and ask people on this thread for their recommendations.

This time of year some breeders may not feel comfortable with shipping the torts. I believe @Elohi is in Texas, and may be within driving distance.
I was nervous about buying a hatchling until talking with the breeder.

I am currently using the website on my computer but I also have the app so I can do whichever is easiest to explain.

If the names I listed are clickable you should be able to click them and a info box should pop up.
There should be a "start a conversation" or "send message".
