Hi, new member

I’m a first time tortoise owner and have been reading this forum trying to learn about these lovely creatures. Located in Southampton (England).
I think my tortoise, called Chelle’ , is a Horsfield ... but I might be wrong and would welcome confirmation.

Welcome to the forum! I don’t think that’s a horse field. Looks more like a hermann’s or a Greek. Please give us plastron pictures to further identify it

Hi Broon, and welcome! Like Techno says, it's not a Horsefield (russian), but rather a Greek or Hermanns. We can tell better by looking at pictures of the bottom shell.

That's a Testudo graeca ibera, more commonly called the "Ibera Greek."
