Hello everyone!
I’ve been lurking for a little bit, and wanted to go ahead and introduce myself.
My family and I live in Statesville, NC. My husband had a tortoise when he was younger, but his tortoise passed away just a year or two before we got married. We have two daughters (4 years old and 2 years old) that absolutely love tortoises (and turtles).
Melanie, my older daughter, has been wanting a tortoise for quite some time. I’ve been doing tons of research and we are leaning towards adding either a Russian or Eastern Hermann’s tortoise to our family. We currently have a female “Labradoodle”, three Betta fish, and three snails.
