I have my 1 adult female hibernating in my attic. It rarely drops below 40 up there. I have read here that some members in the NY/NJ area keep their turtles outdoor all year. Do you let them hibernate on their own or do you assist them in some way? I know they do it all the time in the wild, but I also know that colder than usual winters takes its toll on animals. Also at what age should young turtles be hibernated? Thanks
