How old should I start introducing Hibiscus leaves and flowers. Clovers, dandelions and roses? Do Sulcata like the rose petals or the leaves?

I introduce every new food I can as soon as possible. All that you listed are good. My leopards and Sulcata love roses. Babies can't eat the leaves very good, but eat some.

Please read the "Beginners Mistakes" Thread and the many care sheets available.

Could you post a clearer pic of your tort and his/her enclosure?

And welcome to the forum!

My hatchlings are introduced to rose and hibiscus petals and leaves within days of leaving their egg.

If your baby was not introduced to a wide range of foods right after hatching, be prepared for a lengthy introduction period where the tortoise might not eat the new things for a while.

Once they are 8-10 inches they will eat anything and everything.
