I've read on here that the white and purple roses of sharon is the preferred hibiscus plant to feed the red foots. I have access to a hibiscus plant but the blooms are completely pink. Will this be safe to feed them? I want to stock pile for winter and I can get a variety of different hibiscus.

Thanks!

Any rose of sharon is quite ok to feed. I have a nice variety of purples, pinks, whites, lavendars...some are single petal'd blooms and some are doubled. The tortoises can eat all of them.

Don't forget they can also eat the leaves.
