I am not sure if Pan (male russian tort) opens his mouth and quickly walks to me opening his moth knowing he will get food or if its a territorial thing?
He was very shy but is not at all anymore. I think Tink is rubbing off on him.
When I put my hand in the table and wiggle my fingers and call them they come running but Pan has now decided to open his mouth and close it repeatedly. I just stuff a flower or whatever treat I have in it and I always like to hand feed them a lot of there food.
Just curious as to what this behavior is. I will try and get some pics tomorrow or a little video of him doing it.
Thanks

It's an aggressive food responce DiAnn. One of my females does this, she is my most aggressive female and the only one I have seen going after other females. She has now taught the bigger female she's with the same trick.
He's telling you the food you have is his and you can't have any. :D

Danny, does this happen with too much hand feeding? or is it just something some torts do?
