I just picked up a hingeback yesterday that was stuck at a petstore. I looked him over and noticed some shell issues but failed to notice two holes. I would have taken him either way. I was just wondering if there is anything I should do. They look completely healed, but im just curious. Hes very shy, doesnt move a whole lot but he did just come home yesterday.

Just make sure its not active shell rot. Clean it out, keep it clean and maybe put some athlete's foot cream on it.

its a dent. Not a wound. There is no flaking or molding. It doesnt.look.like shell rot. It looks like the poor guy got picked up by a dog or something.

before i got him ofcourse
