I was going to get a Zoo med tortoise house, but decided to make my own a foot longer than one, and for thirty dollars cheaper. It's for my Russian tortoise. I plan on adding a spider plant and changing substrates to eco earth.

Yeah, it's in the right hand corner on the near side so it can't be seen. It's a repti ramp I think it's called.

Thanks for the compliments, my dad dif most of it considering how much of a clutz I am with tools... But I was wondering does any body know if plants csn grow in eco earth?

Plants can grow in eco earth, but chances are your spider plant won't last long enough to do much growing unless you protect it from your tort. You can build "guards" to try and keep him from digging it up, trampling it, or eating it the root, and let him nibble the overgrowth, or you can keep a few plants in pots and rotate them, giving them a chance to regenerate between maulings.
