How long should weeds take grow?

I like horticulture. Grow lots of stuff.
My experience has been that if weeds / grass / plants are not growing there is an environmental reason.
It can be too little of something - or too much. But rarely do plants stagnate.
Just like our torts , plants need UV, moisture, heat variables , fertilizer ( food) & enough space ( depth of soil).
Look at your environment & try to make an assessment. No one would be able to guess without lots of info.

I agree with Alaskamike. I grew weeds in coir inside my torts enclosure years ago. It grew quickly and had to be trimmed. The humidity, temps and UVB bulb all made it grow good.
Your plants grow well in just the coir?
