Hi, I have calcuim powder for my baby Russian. It's says to put a pinch on his food every few days but he's only tiny and I'm not sure if that's right. He's about 6 months old and is smaller than my hand.

How much should I give him and how often please? (He also has a cuttlefish). Would he benefit from any other supliments?

All you need is a very small pinch between your thumb and index finger sprinkled over the food, then mixed up, about twice a week.

Thank you! I know his should be another thread but is there any way my little guy can suffocate himself? He's buried himself under the topsoil so just the top of his shell is poking out...

regarding suffocation, there is air down there just not a lot. They can get by on much less air then you or I. Well I am exceptional, but still. he won't suffocate down there.

it's perfectly natural and good to worry.
I worry constantly about my Tidgy.
Every little change in behaviour or movement sends me rushing to the forum.
But it's a lot better than not worrying.
That's like not caring.
We all need to be reassured sometimes.
