How much to feed?

Hi there!

I just got a baby Hermann's tortoise, and I was wondering how much to feed it. Will my tortoise eat after it is full, or will it eat until the food is gone. If it's the latter, how much should I feed him? Right now he's eating a mix of Fluker's tortoise diet and kale. What else can he eat?

I don't have hermann tortoises, but I usually put a big glop at the feeding station for each baby in the habitat. "Glop", scientific term for big handful, about the size of the tortoise. And I feed once a day. I don't pick up the old food until lights out at night.

I also have no hermann torts and feed all mine in the same way that yvonne just described, a big handful roughly the size of the tort, the only difference is I split that amount into 2 feedings, 1/2 before work and 1/2 when I get home.
