Hi..! I have my Sulcata baby about 2 months old and just brought him/her back 1 week ago. I just curious when it can have a hard shell. Now it look's like the shell is a little soft at the bottom and the shell some part just a bit soft when you push it.

Is that normal for a small Sulcata...? I try to get some picture.

It is normal to have a soft shell, and it can easily last month and or years depending on it's care.

I have a leopard that is 3 months old and still has a very soft shell. Make sure he's getting a good amount of sun because it helps in the shell growth and hardening.

Lots of access to sunshine, a good diet, calcium supplementation, hydration, exercise, and that shell will harden up over the next few months.
