How to keep humidity up in open-topped tub?

We built our own makeshift rigging with clear painters plastic for the tub while the small one grows into it. The ambient humidity is over 70% now. We know that the tub is a temporary grow-out enclosure. Thanks for the advice, TortsNTurtles!

I just wrapped both sides of the top of the temp. enclosure in foil. I got the Humidity up to 70 now and the heat is still at 80 or above. Now that the outdoor sunning garden is done I can concentrate on the new indoor enclosure maybe as soon as tomorrow. Stay Tuned. I love this new (for the rest of my life) hobby.

I am glad your having fun it is a fun hobby. If you add live plants in there it will help raise the humidity.
