I can't decide if my egg is fertile. It has been a month, I can't decide if it is fertile or not. I have no odors coming from the incubator so wouldn't bad ones smell really ripe??

No it wouldn't smell yet.
You need to get yourself a Solitaire keychain Maglight. They work great to see into eggs. If your egg is fertile there will definately be veins in it by now. Shine the light straight down into the egg in a dark room and you will be able to see in just fine.
