So I have 2 baby Sulcatas, they're almost 8 months old. Their diet currently consists of wheatgrass, Bermuda grass hay, and red leaf lettuce. They don't like the hay, I'm thinking because it's not colorful and it's also hard for them to eat, and therefore they don't eat it. I also live in an apartment so there's no access to fresh grass that isn't doused in chemicals and pesticides. I'm also running out of wheatgrass and I need some help on where to get fresh grass for my tortoises to eat. I'm concerned they don't have the correct diet so I was wondering if anyone could please help me find some fresh grass that isn't hay or full of chemicals. I tried to grow Bermuda grass but unfortunately, it's not possible in the apartment I'm currently living in.

You can start here and do a search for other foods. Depending on the age of your sulcata's they may need the grass finely chopped and hay soaked. You can find safe grass all over in vacant fields and lots. Start with a little grass and hay to a large portion of greens and slowly add more as they get used to it. You can grow your own as well. There are also all kinds of safe leaves, weeds, and flowers in bloom all over, A little reading here should provide lots of ideas!!

Sadly, your tortoises need to be separated. Tortoises, especially sulcatas, are completely solitary and cannot make friends.
Please give us pictures of your tortoise and enclosure.

Your babies are too young to eat stemmy hay. They should be eating broad leaf weeds, and if you really want to feed grasses, feed something softer like wheat grass.

Hello and welcome. Good advice from the other posters here already. The threads that have been linked for you should give you the info you seek, but please feel free to ask questions. We are all here to talk tortoises! :)
