I need advice on a heater, POND PEOPLE

it's 11F this morning , the enclosure before the sun hits it is 26.2F , ...... the enclosure is 1600 cubic feet ..... the last time we were above freezing was 3 days ago for about 3 hours around noon ......

It got down to 49 last night.
Most unusual and as low as it's likely to get for the entire year.
I see no dead fish and they are actively eating this morning.
Luckily, it will be much warmer for the near future

It got down to 49 last night.

I haven't taken pictures. But I've made an "envelope" for lack of a better term, out of fine stainless steel screen. Not quite as fine as window screen and I've enclosed that heater in that envelope and sealed it with black RTV silicone to keep even the smallest fishes from being able to get burned. But still allowing plenty of flow.
This is much more compact. Will be easier to place anywhere in the pond and it will allow the fishes to huddle nearer to the heat source.
Now.....Watch me not need it again this year....Its over 80° out there.
