I need help to identify my tortoise

This is my tortoisei have no idea what kind her/she is out how to care for him. Need advice

The pictures aren't the greatest, but I'm thinking it's a three toe box turtle (Terrapene carolina triunguis). Can we have some better pictures so we can be sure?

Looks like the turtle has been raised in a too dry environment and kept that way for a very long time. Box turtles do best in semi-moist conditions, with lots of plant cover and plenty of water.
