I Think He Might be Pyramiding

My 10 month old Sulcata has seemed to be suing great. Perfect terrarium and diet, but recently I've noticed about millimeter or so bumps around each Scute. So should I not worry to much or take action? Please help!!!

There is pyramiding but it looks like it was early on in his life. Current growth looks smooth.

Oh good. When I first cared for him he had a pretty incorrect diet (kale and lots of romaine) thus the slightly pyramided scutes, but it's nice to know I'm doing pretty good now.

The poor diet did not cause pyramiding.

Pyramiding is caused by growth in conditions that are too dry. Most people mistakenly start these babies in "desert" conditions. A lot of them don't survive it and die weeks or months later from the kidney damage caused by the desiccation.

Looks like that will not be the case with yours, I'm happy to say.

Oh yeah I changed that too. I changed his cage from 30% to 45%-55%

Not to raise it a bit more....but keep his heat up to no less than 80f in even the darkest farthest corners.
