Depends. I hear Mercury can be quite inhospitable this time of year.

Only if they were to find a planet with conditions VERY similar to ours. Maybe one like the one on "Avatar". Then I could catch and ride my very own flying warrior dragon... of course I don't have any head tentacles to psychically link up with him... maybe I could just use a bozel like on my camel...

Unfortunately, all the planets that I am aware of are not very hospitable. I would not want to live in a container or under a glass dome like in "Total Recall".

I voted absolutely not. But still want to know Where do you get such ideas? :p:D. I guess if there was a planet with just animals on it, I would like to live there. But only me, no other humans, sorry people:p:D

I would wait until the first wave of colonists settled in a little. Terraforming strikes me as a monumentally difficult thing to do, because the human body needs lots of trace minerals in very specific amounts. (for example, too little selenium results in lots of heart problems, as shown in villages that are built on areas with very little selenium in the soil).

In short, I'll go when they have a hotel.
