Indoor enclosure for young redfoots

Hi guys, this is my first attempt at a indoor enclosure. It started as a tort table but that obviously held no humidity I decided to enclose it. It is 2’x4’. I have no experience with this and had some questions. The lights will be enclosed in this, is it safe having the uv and basking lights enclosed such a humid area. Also I know the wood will start rotting eventually inside, is there anything that is safe to coat the wood with to seal it? Flex seal, primer? Thank you for any help.

Also I was wondering how many and how big of air holes should I drill at the side tops? The front hole will have plexiglass over it. The box on the right hand side is the humid hide.
