So I just upgraded my tortoise table by getting a indoor greenhouse to control humidity! what are your thoughts :)

Should I let it vent out before fully using it?

looks great! what do you mean by venting it out? there should be enough ventilation if you leave an inch or two (of the "windows") unzipped.

Awsome! Thank you! Oh, sorry what I meant was since it’s new should I let the fabric vent out or is it fine as is? It’s more so about if the fabric has toxic fumes ?

are these good for redfoots as well? I have a bookcase i am converting into her enclosure, but have not figured out the top yet. Several people mentioned these, im just worried about hanging the lights and the heat

Yes you can use these for RF. I have used several different ones over the years.

No you don't really need to vent it unless it has a strong smell then maybe it would be wise for a few days.
You also don't need to leave the doors unzipped. There will be enough air exchange when you get in it to do whatever. Also it's not going to be air tight with cords are coming out.
The more spaces that are open the more you lose heat and humidity.

They don't need to be left unzipped. That's just more heat and humidity loss. There's enough air exchange when the house is opened on a daily bases and where cords are run thru. Besides they aren't air tight to begin with.

And should I buy as many as possible, or just get a small cheapo bag of 40 clips? Sounds like something I might regret not getting alot of. 😕
Or will it be something I would never need or use???

This is my first indoor greenhouse project, so I'm stoked. Can people post more pics of their finished designs please?

Dammit! I ordered my greenhouse, then remembered that I never ordered replacement lights to go inside! Fart!
What style lights work inside these style enclosures again?

My tortoise table wraps around the tortoise room. But I measured it, and realized it's very narrow St just short of 3 ft wide. Bummer.20220724_184818.jpg

Update, sort of...
So my second Greenhouse I've ordered now arrived today in the mail.... the wrong one!
The first one was lost in the mail. This one is too small.

Well they are already replacing it. OK. Third try. We will see how this one goes. I am bummed out. But I still want to complete all of my fully enclosed enclosures. I bought a bunch of stuff to build sliding front doors. But I keep putting the build off. I really want to give the mini greenhouses a shot.
