I have used a book case for his new home I lined it with a shower curtain he seems to be able to get under the substrate and sometimes under the liner I have tried nailing it down and that hasn't worked will he get hurt if im gone all day and he can get under the liner? What else can I add to his new home?

I solved that isue this way. Screwed a clear shower curtain to the top. Keeps humidity and temps in the ranges. Its the cheapest solution but works wonders.
