This is our new yearling - a S. pardalis pardalis. We have named him/her "Moose" but I know its too soon to tell so we might just be calling her "Minnie." This is my first experience with one so young but he/she is very active, eating well and his plumping works well so I hope he/she ends up as healthy and happy as Tank and Bump:)

Very pretty coloring...he/she looks so big in the photos until you added your hand for scale...just a munchkin after all!

Thanks everybody. "Moose" is so tiny compared to Bump and Tank that it has been really fun caring for him and getting to know him, or her. He acts just like they do - big personality in a small package:) I hope he's a he too.

Awwwwww so cute.
You're so right when you say big personality
in a small package.
Our Luka at 3 years thinks she's a tank
and that everywhere she goes is her domain.

Hi Sue - it is so funny to watch them isn't it? Yesterday I took Moose out for a little natural rays time and he explored the edges of the rails of a temp enclosure I set up until he figured out how to climb up and over - as if they were nothing to him/her - like a big boy:) sigh. It helped me understand how and what to do for his outdoor setup.

Still too young to identify.
Chances 9/10 that this is a female.

Can you take a clearer plastron picture Sandy. It doesn't need to be to close, just clear. :D

Thanks!! I've been having computer issues so I'm only on here intermittently(sp?) anyway. I'll try to take a clearer pic and post it soon (Thanks Danny!).
