Is Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth Safe?

We use food grade DE around the yard and coop to cut down on pests without the use of harsh chemicals. (I don't use it in Tuleo's oasis, there has never been a need.) I mainly worry about fire ants in the yard...

Does anyone know for a fact that DE is safe for Sulcatas? I would assume yes but we all know what happens when you assume...

Yes, many use it here for different things. As long as it is food grade.
