Hi, I am going to be gone for a little more than 24 hours. I have someone to check on my tortoise, and I put plenty of food in. his enclosure. I read that it is okay to leave them alone with the right setup. I am going to bathe my tortoise before I leave but the water is slightly discolored due to hydrant flushing. Is this safe for my tortoise? I also have to refill the water bowl.

It is probably better to use that water than none at all.

Or just buy some plain bottled water to use. Not distilled, just plain bottled spring water.
