Is it OK to put clearcoat on the inside of ZooMeds Tortoise House?

I wouldn't. Clear coat can't be wet all the time and it won't stand up to the constant moisture of damp substrate. It also won't stand up to the abuse of a tortoise shell and claws rubbing on it all the time. Fumes are also a concern, depending on what you use.

Also, the ZooMed houses are not suitable for any type of tortoise. They are too open for a baby, and too small for any adult.
