Is late august normal timing for her to lay eggs?

I have a very large female Hermann (Gemma) who surprised me with a clutch of 4 eggs. Google is confusing and has all kinds of contradicting info. Saying incubation is about 60 days while also saying it last 120 days. It says she should have laid her eggs between may & July.. How soon can i tell if theyre fertile with the light test?

Yes it is normal.

Google, and the rest of the internet, along with pet shops, FB, YT, vets, and most other sources is not a good place for tortoise info, as you have already seen.
