Is my Redfoot a good size for 3 years old?

My tortoise ("Torty") is 3 and a half years old and is 9" long. We got him when he was just a tiny baby. I've attached pictures from when I got him and from yesterday. The last photo shows him soaking next to our new Sulcata who we rescued 3 days ago and is 7 1/4" long at almost 5 years. (We do not allow them to interact at all)

Is it normal for a Redfoot to be 9" at 3 and a half years old? Based on other posts, it seems like he might be big?

My redfoot at just a little over a year is around 5 inches. They all grow at different rates depending on diet and habitats.

He does look big for three while the sulcata looks small for 5.

None. Unless you're trying to determine his age.
I'd say he's closer to 5
He/she looks pretty good

I put a post up recently about rescuing the new Sulcata. We were originally told they were an 8 inch 4 years old male but the person I got them from said they believe the original owner THEY rescued them from might have lied because of the stunted growth. The Sulcata has a tiny little tail so I'm doubting it's a male but I know they need to grow more before we'll know for sure. The goal is to get him/her to where they should be by taking amazing care of them.

I was originally searching for info about how small our rescued Sulcata ("Scoot") is and started noticing our redfoot was pretty massive compared to some RF posts lol. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything to worry about for him. Thank you!

If s/he was stunted, it will take longer than normal to show true sex. I rescued a leopard that was stunted. Took a few years for him to catch up to where he should have been and looked female the whole time.
Proper care though along with proper room and s/he will catch up.
