Is my tortoise addicted to mazuri?

I Feed my tortoise 4 pellets of mazuri 2 times a week. Everytime I feed him I provide him with other types of greens that he enjoys a lot but he seems to only be interested in the mazuri. He woke up today from a nap and I decided to give him 1 tiny pellet of mazuri and he went incredibly crazy for it. I've never seen him run so fast for a piece of food.

My Russian wont touch any type of pellet food. At least none that I've tried. Was yours fed pellets as a baby? It's just funny how each tort has different preferences to food.

I got him 2 months ago and as far as I know no. I don't think he did.
