Is this bulb okay for a regular LED light

It should be fine, but be careful it isn't too bright. I'm using 40W replacements in my 6'x30" closed chambers, and those things are really bright. The bulb you have there is almost double mine.

You picked the correct color too. 5000K will look very nice and not yellowish.

That bulb is non dimmable... it wont operate correctly
